Who we are
Acme is a matching service operated by Acme Home Services LLC in Kansas. We connect households with independent service professionals and household staff. We are not the provider of the work itself.
Requests and the deposit
Submitting a request and paying the $24 deposit confirms that you want us to match you with a pro. The deposit is credited in full against the bill for the service you book. Refunds follow the refund policy.
Deposits are held until your request is matched, then credited to your final bill or refunded under our refund policy.
The work and the pro
Pros are independent. Pricing, scheduling and the work itself are agreed between you and the pro. We are not a party to the work itself. Each pro carries their own insurance and is responsible for the quality of their work. Raise any dispute with us first and we will work to resolve it in good faith.
Applying to work with us
Applications are reviewed by our team. Submitting one does not guarantee requests. Pros work as independent contractors and consent to identity, reference and background screening when they apply.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
